Eight days is the format luxury phinisi were built for — long voyages, slow afternoons, and the time to truly inhabit the boat. Seven nights at sea covers every region of Komodo National Park, with optional extensions east toward Alor and the Forgotten Islands.
Eight days lets you live the slow-travel cliche the way it was meant to be lived — mornings stretch, lunches run long, and the pressure of "fitting things in" disappears. The captain plans the route around the tides, not the calendar, which means every high-current dive happens at slack, every viewpoint hike happens at the right golden hour, and every sundowner happens at the right anchorage.
A typical 8D7N route circles the entire park clockwise: south to Manta Alley and the Nusa Kode muck-dive sites, west to Komodo and Padar, north to Gili Lawa, Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, then out past Banta to Sangeang volcano. We can also build an east-bound version that pushes through the Sape Strait toward Alor and the Forgotten Islands — one-way charters with disembarkation in Maumere or Kupang.
This length pairs naturally with the higher-end vessels in our fleet. The extra nights at sea reward boats with proper cabins, stabilisation, on-board spas, and dedicated chefs. Most 8D7N bookings are on luxury phinisi (USD 12,000–28,000 for the boat) or motor yachts (USD 16,000–42,000), with superyacht options on request.

Not on the right vessel. On a well-appointed luxury phinisi or yacht, eight days is the format the boat was designed for — the rhythm settles, the crew anticipates your preferences, and the trip ends just as you’ve fully unwound.
Yes. One-way 8-day voyages east toward Maumere, Kupang, or Alor are available on selected vessels (relocation surcharge applies). Westbound to Lombok or Bali requires a longer charter (10–14 days).
Per-boat pricing — luxury phinisi USD 12,000–28,000, motor yachts USD 16,000–42,000, superyachts on request. Per-person rate falls steeply with group size.
