Mutiara Laut offers a blend of luxury and adventure on the way to Komodo — 46 metres of classic phinisi with a 9.40-metre beam and a 3.10-metre draft, carrying 15 guests in seven en-suite cabins.
The Mutiara Laut phinisi charter offers a blend of luxury and adventure on the way to Komodo Island. She spans 46 metres in length, with a beam of 9.40 metres and a draft of 3.10 metres — a wide, steady hull that gives her noticeably more deck and cabin space than her length alone suggests.
That beam is the point of the boat. It is what makes room for seven proper cabins, a full lounge and a sundeck that a group of fifteen can actually spread out on.
Guests relax and soak up the sun on the expansive sundeck, or explore the reef with top-quality snorkelling gear. The dining area serves a mix of local and international dishes to match the itinerary.
Water activities include kayaking, paddling and water skiing, all available off the back. Inside there is a comfortable lounge area, WiFi and air conditioning throughout.
The Master Cabin takes a double bed, private balcony and sea view. Four Double Cabins carry a double plus a single bed behind portholes — the reason Mutiara Laut sleeps 15 rather than 14, and a practical layout for families travelling with a child.
Two Front Cabins complete the plan with double beds and sea views. All seven have private bathrooms and air conditioning.
Whole-boat charter from USD 13,500 per night plus 11% VAT. Komodo National Park entrance fees, crew gratuities and flights are quoted separately.

From USD 13,500 per night plus 11% VAT for the whole boat, which sleeps 15 guests in 7 cabins. Komodo National Park entrance fees, crew gratuities and flights are quoted separately.
Seven. One master cabin with a double bed, private balcony and sea view; four double cabins with a double plus single bed and porthole views; and two front cabins with double beds and sea views. All seven are en-suite and air-conditioned.
Four of the seven cabins carry a double bed plus a single bed, so one of them can take a third guest. That makes her a practical fit for a family group with an odd number of travellers.
Kayaking, paddling and water skiing are all available off the back of the boat, alongside top-quality snorkelling gear. The expansive sundeck is the main lounging space between activities.
She measures 46 metres LOA with a 9.40-metre beam and a 3.10-metre draft, powered by a Yanmar 6AYM-ETE at 485 kW. On board there is WiFi, air conditioning throughout and a comfortable indoor lounge.
